Triethoxyvinylsilane Applications

1. Wire & Cable (Main Use)

• Used as a crosslinking agent for polyethylene (PE).

• Turns PE into a heat-resistant, durable material (XLPE) for power cables, communication cables, and pipes.

2. Composite Materials

• Improves bonding between glass fibers or mineral fillers and plastic resins.

• Increases strength and water resistance of fiberglass products, artificial stone, and polymer composites.

3. Coatings & Adhesives

• Enhances adhesion of paints and glues to glass, metal, and ceramics.

• Improves corrosion resistance and durability of coatings.

4. Rubber Products

• Treats fillers like silica to improve reinforcement.

• Increases tear strength and bonding between rubber and other materials.
