Properties
Crosile® 75 (Bis(3-triethoxysilylpropyl) disulfide) TESPD is a bifunction polysulfidic organosilane widely used in the rubber industry. It improves the reinforcing capability of fillers with silanol groups and enhances cross-linking network properties.
Compared to the polysulfidic organosilane Crosile® 69 (Bis(3-triethoxysilylpropyl)tetrasulfide), Crosile®75 offers:
- Higher temperature stability
- Compatibility with higher mixing temperatures
- Improved tensile strength and modulus
- Reduced compression set
- Increased abrasion resistance

Application

- Multifunctional silane coupling agent that improves physical/mechanical properties of vulcanizates – enhances tensile strength, tearing strength, abrasive resistance while reducing compression set and viscosity.
- Specifically enhances reinforcing properties of hydroxyl-containing fillers (silica, talc, mica, clay) in unsaturated polymers with double bonds (NR, IR, SBR, BR, NBR, EPDM).
Recommended dosage: 1.0-4.0 PHR
