Applications
Hydrogenated Dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) HY-6120 based hydrocarbon resins are widely used as tackifiers in many applications.
In particular, hydrogenated DCPD-based hydrocarbon resins HY-6120 are frequently used in premium hot-melt adhesives (HMAs) and hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesives (HMPSAs) because of their water white color and excellent stability to light and heat.
Hydrogenated dicyclopentadiene resins affect adhesive performance when used as tackifiers in styrene block copolymer based hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesives, sealants; and for a variety of rubber system as a thickening aid, plastic modification additives, like OPP thin additives, polypropylene,ink additives, waterproofing agent.
HY-6120 applied in non-woven products and hot melt adhesive, pressure sensitive adhesive and sealants.
HY-6120 applied in non-woven fabrics field, as production caking agents in the materials like disposable diapers and sanitary napkins.
