ECOPOWER C9 HC 9130 Hydrocarbon Resin is a low molecular weight thermoplastic aromatic resin produced from petroleum derived C9 fraction through catalytic-polymerization technique.
C9 HC 9130 petroleum resin has a higher softening point.
Generally speaking, this kind of resin isn’t used singly, but can be used with other resins as accelerant, regulator, and modifier.
HC 9130 has the properties of good solubility, mutual solubility, water resistance, insulation, excellent chemical stability over acid and alkali, good adhesive strength, and low heat conduction.

The mixture of petroleum resin HC 9130 and dry oil is ideal for varnish production. It enhances alkali resistance and shock resistance in varnishes. Additionally, it improves temperature resistance and waterproofing in primers.Printing Inks:
HC 9130 is widely used in printing inks. It increases drying speed, radiance, and printing quality. It also helps reduce production costs.Adhesives:
HC 9130 improves the adhesiveness and high-temperature resistance of adhesives. It is particularly suitable for solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesives. As a low molecular weight aliphatic petroleum resin, it is widely used in labels and tapes.
