Ethyl Silicate TEOS Crosile® SI50
Chemical Properties
Tetraethyl Orthosilicate Crosile® SI50 is a colorless or pale-yellow transparent liquid at room temperature, with a taste similar to ether. It can be miscible with organic solvents such as ethanol and aetone, and can undergo hydrolysis reaction with water to generate silicic acid sol and release heat. It becomes turbid in humid air, and becomes clear and non-toxic after standing still.
