Silane coupling agent Crosile® 69 Bis[3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]tetrasulfide (TESPTS) is commonly used as a crosslinking agent and reinforcing filler in rubber manufacturing. TESPT Crosile®69 films provide corrosion protection to metal substrates. It is also used as a precursor for the synthesis of mesoporous silicones.

Application
- Crosile® 69 is a multifunctional silane coupling agent used successfully in the rubber industry to improve physical and mechanical properties of vulcanizates.
- Crosile® 69 markedly improves tensile strength, tearing strength and abrasive resistance while reducing compression set of vulcanizates. It also reduces viscosity and improves processability.
- Especially effective for improving reinforcing properties of hydroxyl-containing fillers in unsaturated polymers with double bonds. Compatible with silica, talc, mica, and clay in polymers including NR, IR, SBR, BR, NBR and EPDM.
Recommend dosage: 1.0-4.0 PHR
